How long does a typical chimney inspection take using a cherry picker?

A standard chimney inspection usually takes between one and two hours, depending on the complexity of the building. Because our fully qualified operator sets up the machinery immediately upon arrival, there is no wasted time, allowing us to quickly assess any chimney damage and plan necessary repairs.

Can you perform other maintenance tasks during the same hire session?

Yes, absolutely. Vertical access allows us to assist with multiple jobs. While we are elevated for your chimney inspection, we can easily carry out other high level maintenance. This is the ideal time to complete gutter cleaning or look into cleaning solar panels to maximise the value of your hire.

What happens if you discover significant chimney damage?

If our chimney inspection reveals structural issues, our operators can capture clear photographic evidence to show you exactly what is wrong. We can then discuss the best repair options, using our cherry picker to provide continuous, safe access for the stonemasons or roofers who will fix the issues.
